REA Floors LLC, also known as Dr. Carpet, is owned and run by Ilan K. from our shop at 5-15 Bergen Avenue in Fair Lawn, New Jersey.
The phone rings at all hours in this business: a washing machine hose that let go overnight, a sump pump that died in a storm, an ice machine line behind the refrigerator, a toilet upstairs that kept running. Our team has many years of experience with every one of those, plus sewage backups and river floods where the water stood more than five feet deep.
Being a floor company changes how we handle a water job. A lot of crews pull every wet board and roll of carpet by default. We look first. Hardwood, marble, ceramic and oriental rugs are what we know, so we can tell you what will dry and refinish well and what honestly needs to go.
And when the fans come out, we stay. Drywall, paint, trim, carpentry and new floors are part of the job, not a referral to someone else. One estimate, one crew, one number to call.
